I got into comics because a YA novelist I love, Tamora Pierce, did a miniseries for Marvel several years ago: White Tiger, featuring Angela del Toro in the title role. This was my first inkling that I liked comics at all—and soon after I couldn’t get enough of them. I branched out into Heroes for Hire, Immortal Iron Fist, and Astonishing X-Men, then dove into DC where the Batfamily and Wonder Woman captured my heart. Been dorking out in the comic shop ever since!
